Tangosafari Brody 2016 _ Claudia Rogowski & Matias Facio from elabrazo on Vimeo.

Things i always wanted to say

Hi there,

after so many years observing what is going on in Tango, i came up with some ideas, visions, opinions that i want to start sharing with you. I don't know the format that i'm gonna give to all of these, but i'm looking forward to bring all these up to you.

Wish me luck and if want, follow my blog.

Abrazos,

Matias
Hi there,

2016 has already started and i haven't posted much... sorry about that.
This week is gonna be intensive:

Tuesday and Wednesday: SuperTango & Tango Technique with Claudia Rogowski
Thursday night: "Maria & Friends" with Maria Mondino
Friday & Saturday & Sunday: Workshops + Performance in Colonia with Mariana Dragone

Things are moving fast for me in 2016. Many things coming up with Tango, family, friends, travels...

Stay tune,

abrazos,

Matias
Happy new year everyone !

After a great great Marathon in Berlin, where i can say, i had a lot lot of fun dancing and watching Gaston and Noelia performing. It is definitely my favorite event here in Berlin!

Tomorrow i'm flying to Tokyo, Japan, where i will be teaching privates classes and workshops together with Kumiko Mori. Very excited about visiting this beautiful city for the 4th time, and seriously looking forward to great Japanese food!

I will be back on the 20th of January, give a couple of classes in Berlin, and then i will fly to Basel where i will be teaching 2 seminars together with Claudia Rogowski. One Seminar is going to be Milonga, and the other one, Colgadas. Love both very much and wish people with dance them both more freely (can explain this some other time).

On the 25th i will be already back in Berlin, teaching for one week and preparing my trip to Buenos Aires on the 29th until the 5th or March.

Buenos Aires will be, as it is supposed to be!! great... let's see that.
I will join the Misterio Tango Festival from my friend Gastón Torelli. Want to see some shows from Colleagues to get inspiration. I will teach a couple of practicas, but further information i will release as soon as i know the specific dates.

That's all for now,

have a great year!

abrazos,

Matias

Long time...

hi there,

sorry, i haven't being posting things for a long long long time.
I was busy with the other website that my friend Farid made for the school in Berlin.
May be you checked it out (www.tango-berlin.com).

I promise i will try this time, to keep my blog more up to date.
For you to know, i've been teaching in Tokyo for 3 times already, and in the coming January
i will be there again for two weeks.
Also, i had the great pleasure to teach some privates in Hong Kong, city that i haven't visited
for about 10 years... so nice to see old friends (which never aged by the way...).

I'm now in Berlin, looking forward to enjoy Christmas and the upcoming Berlin new year tango marathon organized by Claudia, Sven and Gastón, with guest teachers Gaston Torelli & Noelia Hurtado.

After these celebrations, i will be visiting Japan as i said above for two weeks, then Basel together with Claudia Rogowski, and then BA between the 29th of January and the 5th of March.

With Claudia, i'm currently planning how to reorganize the school. The last couple of months it didn't go so well, i guess because the high offer of Milongas for a very low price, plus, it is always difficult in this time of the year.

Almost forgot two more things, i'm teaching for the third time in Milonga Popular. This last time from this serie, will take place next Monday. If you wanna join the class, look up for Milonga Popular on Facebook, to get to know the details better.

The other thing, i got a beard... yes... you will see...

Wish you  all great Christmas and New Years Eve,
and wish also to see you around in 2016.
As i promised, i will try to keep this blog more up to date.

Abrazos from Berlin,

Matias

hi everyone!

2013 has arrived, world didn't finish... that means Tango keeps on going!
On February i will be attending Misterio Tango Festival, 5th. edition, but this time not teaching, just participating in the parties :)
Most probably i will arrange some classes, but it is not confirmed. Gaston Torelli wanted that we teach some Men's technique together... let's see.
For sure, i will post some information here whenever i have something concrete.
Wish you all the best in 2013,

hope to see you all around,

Matias!

Back in Berlin

hi everybody,

i'm back in Berlin :-) that means Claudia and I are gonna be teaching together from today Wednesday 14th of March. Like always our classes take place in Bühnenreif (immanuelkirchstr. 6). For more information about them please visit our website: www.tango-berlin.com

I wanted to also thanks to Mariela Sametband, Mariana Dragone y Karina Colmeiro, Gastón Torelli y Moira Castellano, Anahí Posse y Dana Frígoli for inviting me as a guest to teach together with them at their Studios:  La Maleva, Cuarenta30 (Cordoba 4030) and DNI Studio (Bulnes and Tucuman), I had a great time with them, sharing and exchanging valuable information.
Thanks also to the students who follow my classes. It was nice to feel that the work i'm doing together with my partner Claudia Rogowski is interesting for so many people despite these two years that we haven't teach in Buenos Aires.

Berlin is as usual in this time of the year cold...  happy to be at home though :-)

see you around in milongas!
